Rebekah Dopp

Principal, News and Local Media--Global Partnerships

Rebekah Dopp is a recovering TV executive now at Google focused on the evolution of digital broadcast media and local news. She is also spearheading a Gender Equality Index. Throughout her career, she has worked at the intersection of TV and technology, and balanced her professional endeavors with non-profit service focused on empowering and protecting women and children.

She joined Google in September 2016 as Head of Local TV Partnerships for YouTube TV, and prior to Google, Rebekah was Senior Vice President, Advanced Digital Services for CBS. She began her media career at HBO where she spent 14 years in leadership positions in technology and distribution, culminating in her role as Vice President, Global Technology Business Management. Rebekah has led global teams negotiating complex domestic and international agreements and was on the launch teams for streaming TV services HBO GO, CBS All Access, and YouTube TV. 

She is a corporate board member of Tilray (NASDAQ: TLRY), a trustee of The New York Foundling, and a fellow of the Betsy Magness Leadership Institute. She earned her BBA, Finance, from William & Mary and completed the Cable Executive Management Program at Harvard Business School.

Rebekah is a dedicated wife and mother of young kids and a big hound dog.
