Margaret Laney is the President of Antigravity, the marketing arm of Gunpowder & Sky, acquired as a part of the Supergravity Pictures deal in January 2017. Named one of Variety’s Hollywood’s New Leaders, Digital, Laney is the former Founding Chief Marketing Officer of AwesomenessTV.  During her time at AwesomenessTV, Laney oversaw all branding, marketing, social and audience development efforts from brand launch through acquisition by Dreamworks Animation SKG. Under her leadership, Laney launched the AwesomenessTV YouTube channels and multi-channel network, spearheaded campaigns for AwesomenessTV on Nickelodeon, oversaw the YouTube multi-channel launch of Hearst’s Seventeen Magazine, as well as the brand development and YouTube channel launch of Russell Simmons’ All Def Digital. 

Prior to AwesomenessTV, Laney worked as Social Strategist, Creative Producer and Project Manager for Collective Digital, now Studio71, where she created video and social content for top digital talent, including FreddieW, The Annoying Orange, FRED, iJustine and Megan & Liz. 

Laney has also served as Chief Marketing Officer for marketplace and delivery service for locally-cooked meals, MyTable, where she aided in raising of $2M in seed financing, leading regional expansion into Austin, Texas, and leading all growth and operational efforts. 

A graduate of New York University, Laney began her career as a creative and TV/film producer before transitioning into her executive leadership roles.
