Kelly Abcarian is a media executive with 18+ years of industry and technical leadership in aligning cross product solutions for television, digital and cross-platform. As General Manager for Nielsen’s new Advanced Video Advertising Group, Abcarian has helped to lead Nielsen in sharpening its focus to help shape the future of Addressable TV advertising.

 

She’s helped lead Nielsen in making strategic acquisitions - Qterics, Gracenote and Sorenson Media - that have strengthened the company’s technology offerings and positioned it as a player in the Addressable TV space. Ultimately, Abcarian is helping brands and publishers define the future of TV, deliver a cross-platform solution centered on smart TVs and help monetize addressable advertising at scale.

 

Abcarian has received several awards including Cynopsis Top Women in Digital (2016 & 2019), Multichannel News: Women to Watch (2017) and Wonder Women in Streaming (2019), Diversity MBA Top 100 Executive Leaders (2018), and OUTstanding 50 Ally Executives (2019).

 

Prior to Nielsen, Kelly held senior leadership positions for large Technology Companies, including Siebel Systems and Oracle. She currently resides in Chicago.
