John Finley currently serves as the Executive Vice President of Development for FOX News Channel (FNC) and oversees FOX Nation’s, the channel’s new on demand streaming service. He joined the network in 2000.  In this role, Finley will continue developing all new programs and long-form series at FNC. Most recently, he oversaw the creation of FNC series OBJECTified with Harvey Levin along with weekend programs including, The Next Revolution with Steve Hilton and Life, Liberty and Levin. He was also instrumental in the development and planning of all the network’s presidential debates during the 2016 election cycle along with the recent Ben Shapiro Election Specials and the senatorial and gubernatorial election town halls co-anchored by Special Report’s  Bret Baier and The Story’s Martha MacCallum. Finley is also responsible for developing all of FOX Nation’s programming and was instrumental in the 2018 launch of the direct-to-consumer platform designed to target the network’s most passionate and loyal super fans. The standalone streaming service now offers more than 600 hours of content ranging from historical documentaries to political and lifestyle series. Previously, he served as Director of Development where he helped develop some of the network’s core primetime and special programming, including Hannity, The Five, Outnumbered, The Greg Gutfeld Show and The Man Who Killed Usama Bin Laden. Finley has also held positions as Executive Producer Finley is a graduate of the University of Virginia and earned a Master’s Degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
