Jennifer is an award winning entertainment and media strategist who leads with cross-platform DNA.  She currently owns and operates JK Media, an advisory collective led by former operators and focused on building cross-platform strategies and executional roadmaps for the media and entertainment industry.

As former Principal at BRaVe Media Ventures, she led advisory work for major clients with an emphasis on persona mapping, sales strategy, content marketing, organizational development and OTT strategy.  In addition, she led the content acquisition & development arm of the business driving innovation around packaging for co-production partners.

Kavanagh executive produced the first ever “Live Fronts” in October 2016 in partnership with Al Roker Media. The event brought together leaders across the entertainment & media landscape, including NBCU, Viacom, Live Nation, Twitch, CBSi/CBSN and Snapchat for a candid series of discussions & analysis around the growing business of “live.”

Prior to joining BRaVe, Jen was the EVP and US General Manager of Beamly, the social marketing platform for television which successfully sold to COTY Brands in October 2015. Beamly recruited Jen from NBCU where she was SVP, Digital at NBCU’s Oxygen network. During her tenure, she raised Oxygen Media’s digital profile to be recognized as a leader in innovation within the entertainment landscape.
