Jeffrey G. Weber

Jeffrey Weber is the CEO of zone·tv -- the first company to introduce a platform and service that provides traditional TV channels powered by Artificial Intelligence, machine learning and human curation to create a highly-personalized viewing experience designed to satisfy each individual in the household with their own programming experience.

Zone·tv works with some of the largest operators and programmers in the world to deliver unique viewing experiences. These include:

  • zone·tv™ Studio:  a revolutionary predictive programming & personalization platform, powered by artificial intelligence, which allows content owners and video distributors to create self-branded linear TV channels. The zone·tv™ Studio suite of tools allows any video service provider to create personalized thematic channels with their own content.
  • Zone·tv Dynamic Channels:  a first-of-its-kind linear-style TV channels offering that effortlessly delivers a personalized world of outstanding content discoveries.  Built by zone·tv studio and fueled by hours of licensed content, zone·tv Dynamic Channels delivers 13 personalized channels to consumers directly from the EPG.  The more a subscriber watches Dynamic Channels, the better the platform recognizes their preferences and delivers the shows a viewer truly loves.
  • SVOD Channels: zone·tv has become the country’s largest provider of thematic subscription video-on-demand services in North America with more than 30 distinctly different SVOD channel offerings, including seasonal favorites Santa Tracker and Halloween Countdown.

Weber, previously president, content & advertising at AT&T U-verse, was also responsible for all programming and advertising across AT&T’s TV, mobile, broadband and data segments. This included defining and bringing to market an internet access product line and launching programming for subscribers. He also oversaw the electronic program guide (EPG), video on demand (VOD) services, mobile and broadband content, gaming and other interactive applications

Weber led the initial corporate strategy effort that resulted in the deployment and ultimate success of U-verse at AT&T before moving into the product role. He was a key player with U-verse since its launch in 2006, and saw the business grow from no revenue or customers, to more than 5 million TV subscribers and a $12 billion-plus annual run rate on the platform.

Weber is a native of Norman, Oklahoma, and received an MIS degree from the University of Oklahoma and an MBA from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management. He now lives in Southern California and is married to Lesa, and has two children, Allie and Parker.
