Bruce Tuchman is a global media investor and advisor in the entertainment and technology sectors. Over the past two decades, he has run the international channel businesses of AMC Networks and Sundance Channel, MGM and Nickelodeon, transforming these popular US brands into global powerhouses. 


Currently, Tuchman is a board member and investor in the global data science company Parrot Analytics.  In addition, he is an investor and senior advisor to Mars Reel, a youth sports video-on-demand service that also includes LeBron James and James Harden as investors.  Bruce has also served as senior advisor to iflix, the leading subscription video-on-demand service in 33 countries across the world; and works closely with iflix’s founding shareholders in their venture capital activities. 


At AMC Global and Sundance Channel Global, Tuchman served as President and lead the distribution, programming, business development, and marketing of the AMC and Sundance Channel brands internationally. Prior to AMC, Tuchman was President of MGM Worldwide Networks, a division of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios, where he developed and managed MGM’s interests in cable, satellite and other television networks in the U.S and over 125 countries and territories around the world. Before that he was General Manager of Nickelodeon Global Network Ventures and Senior Vice President, Nickelodeon New Media Ventures, developing and overseeing branded Nickelodeon channels and digital services across worldwide. Tuchman began his career as a Mergers & Acquisitions attorney with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in New York and London.


Tuchman is Chairman of the Americas Fund for the London School of Economics; Chairman of the University of Michigan’s University Music Society, one of the nation’s oldest arts presenting organizations; and is a member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.  In 2013 Tuchman was honored for his work in the international television business with Digital TV Europe’s Content Executive of the Year award.
