When she was young, Amy Leifer was working at Columbia Tri-Star Television, selling syndication for shows like Seinfeld and Mad About You, when her boss asked her to brainstorm ways to help launch ad sales for DirecTV. That night, over dinner, Amy scribbled her ideas on the back of a napkin. She presented them the next morning, and her team won the business shortly thereafter.
That moment taught her that knowing a product really well, being able to adapt, and setting measurable goals were key, insights she’d observed throughout her long career.
After Columbia, Amy went to work exclusively for the Game Show Network, helping to launch a dedicated ad sales team and manage the network’s growing business. Under her leadership, the team consistently drove double-digit revenue growth. 
She officially joined DIRECTV in 2011, and transformed the national direct response and digital sales organizations to a solution-based sales approach by delivering the best return on the investment to the advertiser. Under her leadership, DirecTV’s earnings and growth have significantly outpaced the market.
In 2018, Amy moved into a new role as the Head of Sales Planning & Operations for the new Advertising & Analytics division of AT&T, now Xandr. She continues to revolutionize the business with her team, thinking up new possibilities to make the largest household addressable advertising TV platform even better.
