With nearly 20 years experience in tradtional and digital media, Alex now serves as Vice President, Business & Product Development where he is responsible for bringing EasyBroadcast’s end-to-end OTT solution and patented Viewer-To-Viewer streaming protocol to multiple market verticals in the Americas. Prior to joining EasyBroadcast, Alex was Head of Media Product Development at Intelsat where he managed the ideation, product definition and development of Intelsat's global media managed solutions and services. From 2015-2018, Alex served as Senior Director, Digital Video Strategy for Discovery, Inc. With Discovery, he was responsible for strategic oversight and management of revenue-driving initiatives for TV Everywhere and Video On Demand. He assisted in the development of the go-to-market strategy of Discovery’s first multiplatform TV Everywhere experience known as “DiscoveryGO”. From 2009-2015, Alex served as Director of New Media for Scripps Networks Interactive 2009-2015 and in a variety of marketing and programming positions with Comcast Cable Communications, Inc. from 2001-2008. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communications from the University of Delaware and an MBA from the University of Tennessee’s Haslam College of Business.
