Entitled "Connected TV: Not as Smart as You Think It Is," the workshop is designed to identify the ways in which connected TV needs to change in order to be widely embraced by consumers. The industry calls it smart TV. Thing is, it's not really that smart yet. It could go off to Harvard someday, but right now we're still trying to get it to color inside the lines.

Stephen Fishburn, CTO of Splat Interactive, will discuss the big changes in TV that consumers have embraced, and why connected TV isn't quite there yet from developer, technical, user-experience, and commercial perspectives.
