Dr. Hannu Verkasalo founded Verto Analytics, an audience measurement solution for monitoring the complex behavior of today’s consumer across every app and device they use throughout the day. Hannu found Verto four years ago and has more than 15 years’ experience in the digital media space. He is also a pioneer in digital multiscreen media measurement services, having developed a methodology for measuring behavior for today’s multi-screen user. Hannu has advised more than twenty ventures across the U.S. and Europe, and has had two successful exits (Menudata, Zokem). Most recently, he led the mobile and online research arm for Arbitron, which was acquired by Nielsen in 2011. Hannu holds a Ph.D. in mobile analytics and holds master’s degrees in social science, engineering and economics.
