Kevin Smith is Vice President, Digital Media for Comcast Spotlight, the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable.   In this role, he is focused on the development of multi-platform sales opportunities throughout the company’s footprint, including managing Spotlight’s Strategic Alliances, Advanced Advertising and On Demand Publishing teams.

Kevin joined Comcast in 2007 as Vice President, Advertising Sales Development, and drove the creation of incremental revenue by leading the company’s CAPTURE initiative to maximize opportunities in short- and long-form direct response advertising.  He also oversaw the creation of a centralized remnant inventory management system designed to capture unrealized revenue on all of Spotlight’s advertising products.

With more than 30 years of experience in the media marketing industry, Kevin formerly was the President of TelAmerica CableConnect, where he was responsible for the management of the CableConnect Network.  Prior to TelAmerica, he was Senior Vice President of Cable & PPM Business Development at Arbitron.  Previously, Kevin created Mega Advertising, a wholly owned subsidiary of Media General, Inc.

Kevin had full scholarships from both the Carroll School of Management at Boston College in 1977 and from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University in 2001.
