Hillel Cooperman
Hillel Cooperman founded Jackson Fish Market in November of 2006 along with co-founders Walter Smith, and Jenny Lam. Since its inception JFM has shipped six hand-crafted consumer web experiences including They're Beautiful! (theyrebeautiful.com), Invitastic (http://www.invitastic.com), and What a Lovely Name (http://www.whatalovelyname.com). Their latest product is A Story Before Bed (http://www.astorybeforebed.com). The service lets parents and grandparents who can't be there for bedtime record videos of themselves reading children's books. The kids can watch the videos synchronized to the pages of the book right on screen anytime they like, as often as they like. In addition to A Story Before Bed, JFM recently shipped a suite of educational games for toddlers on the iPhone called Hippo Hooray (http://www.hippohooray.com).
Before Jackson Fish Market, Hillel worked for Microsoft from mid-1997 to late 2006. While at Microsoft he helped ship Internet Explorer for the Macintosh, several versions of MSN Explorer, and was Product Unit Manager for the Windows User Experience team. Hillel also founded and writes the food blog - http://www.tastingmenu.com.
