Chloe Sladden
Chloe Sladden works closely with Twitters broadcast, publishing, entertainment and online media partnersfrom MTV, CNN and ESPN to The Huffington Post, NBCOlympics.com, CBS Interactive and NYTimes.comto help them harness Twitter to create new approaches to content creation, news reporting, interactivity and audience engagement, both online and on-air.
Before Twitter, Chloe was VP of Strategic Partnerships at Current TV, a pioneering, Emmy-winning 60MM household TV network and online news site. She was responsible for creating programming and partnerships that cracked the code on compelling, scalable interactive TV. She produced the Webby Award-winning Hack the Debate as well as Current Diggs the Election and Current Twitters the Inaugurationefforts that press described as perhaps the most radical attempt yet to merge television with the Internet.
Previously, Chloe advised the executive leadership of major media conglomerates, worked with pioneering new media start-ups and navigated the highs and lows of documentary filmmaking. She was a management consultant in Booz Allen Hamilton's (now Booz & Company) media and entertainment practice, where she counseled film studios, book publishers, TV networks and record companies. She also co-produced/directed Headstrong, a documentary broadcast on public television.
Chloe is on the board of Grey Area Foundation for the Arts, a non-profit designed to drive open innovation at the intersection of art, design, data and technology. She holds an MBA from Stanford's Graduate School of Business as well as a Masters in Cultural Anthropology, also from Stanford
