Babak Maghfourian, a true hypervideo innovator, has 26 years of experience in tech development and marketing. He began his career at age 16 at the Paris Institute for Computing where he taught graphics and game design in French and German. He moved to Canada in 1984 to graduate from St. Michaels University where he wrote ‘Dam Buster Attack’ a video game for Apple II and Philips game consoles.

Throughout his schooling he developed numerous ground breaking and profitable interactive video CD-Roms for University of Victoria where he studied computer science. He completed his studies as an industrial engineer at British Columbia Institute of Technology in 1992, specializing in industry optimization. In 1996 he founded Avalanche Multimedia developing various innovative eCommerce stores and online music portals in the web 1.0 space. He then founded VideoClix in 1999 to pioneer advanced hypervideo (clickable video) for use in commercial, educational and military applications. Today VideoClix is the official clickable video vendor for companies such as MTV, ESPN and Dailymotion. Babak is the main driving force behind VideoClix and closely oversees all aspects of the operation including business and tech development as well as marketing.
