Steve Reynolds

Steven Reynolds is responsible for developing technology strategies and technology roadmaps for customer premise equipment and home networking technologies at Comcast.  In his role, Mr. Reynolds works to develop innovative devices for all aspects of Comcast’s service delivery in the premise, including digital video, voice, data, and cross-platform applications.

Prior to his position at Comcast, Mr. Reynolds served as the Senior Vice President of Technology at OpenTV Incorporated, a world leader in digital and interactive television technology.  In that role, Steven led the development of technology and product initiatives for interactive television deployments throughout North and South America, as well as guiding intellectual property development core to the OpenTV’s middleware and advertising business units.

Mr. Reynolds’ experience in the cable industry has also included executive level positions at ACTV Incorporated and Intellocity USA.  He was a member of the technical team at TV Guide, leading the development of the industry’s first interactive program guide for digital cable set-tops.

John Gowen

John Gowen co-manages Liberty Global Ventures; a global investment fund owned by Liberty Global, the second largest cable TV operator in the world and the largest outside the U.S. with over 26 million video, voice, and broadband Internet subscribers, operations in 14 countries and $11.3 billion of annualized revenue.  Mr. Gowen is a 15-year veteran of the international telecommunications and media industry.

LGI Ventures focuses its investments in three key areas: Technology (network infrastructure, home networking, bandwidth management, advertising and interactive services and applications); Content (linear and non-linear); and Distribution (emerging markets).  LGI Ventures actively leverages operating resources from the Liberty Global group of companies through all aspects of the investment life cycle. The fund is managed by a dedicated team of professionals located in Denver, London, and Sydney.

Mr. Gowen holds a B.S. in Commerce from the University of Virginia.  He lives in Denver with his wife and three young sons.



Don Dulchinos

Donald P. Dulchinos is Senior Vice President, Advertising and Interactive Services, for Cable Television Laboratories, Inc. (CableLabs®).  Mr. Dulchinos directs and manages development of technology supporting advanced advertising and interactive services that are being introduced by cable MSOs.  Technology areas include work on platforms, interfaces and system integration and deployment.  Technologies include the ETV/EBIF (Enhanced Television) platform that runs on set-top boxes or digital televisions, CableLabs Advertising Stewardship and Fulfillment Interfaces, and SCTE 130 architecture for addressable advertising.  Key elements of the work include supporting industry relationships with broadcasters and cable programming networks, as well as working in concert with industry joint venture Canoe Ventures LLC.
